Karaoke Night + Coffee Hour Coming!

Hey guys -- 

First things first: Karaoke night was a HUGE success, so thank you to all the KSA, VSA, and HSA members and other assorted guests that made it out and made the night the success that it was. Lots of fun for everyone. :) 

Next up on the agenda is Coffee Hour...unfortunately the details for that have not been hashed out yet -- but expect an update there in a timely manner. 

Other than that, we will be trying to consolidate and upload recent past pictures and all future pictures into a main stream that will permanently linked here and other avenues of social media.

Reminder: KSA/VSA Mixer at Butter!

First off, thanks to all those who made it out to LiNK and/or Korean in Krown. As always, your support is greatly appreciated!

Now, to the next order of business...the KSA/VSA collaborative mixer at Butter downtown! 

If you plan on coming and can make it to the door before midnight, please do, as both KSA and VSA benefit directly from entrants at those times! 

Time: 10 PM ~ Close

Location: NC Music Factory (950 Music Factory Blvd)

Price: $5 for 21+ and $7 if under 21 (only 18+, sorry!)

Liberty in North Carolina (LiNK) Screening & Korea in Krowns

Thank you for those who came out to Korea Karolina! It was a huge success!

October 23 (Tomorrow) at 4 PM in CHHS 155 KSA is hosting a documentary screening by Liberty in North Carolina (LiNK).

Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) is the only full-time grassroots organization in North America devoted to the North Korean human rights and humanitarian crises.

The screening is one of the most life changing documentaries you could witness! Help this organization spread awareness of what's going on in North Korea!

After LiNK, KSA is cooperating with Chartwells to bring you Korea in Krown commons, where we prepare and serve our cultures signature dishes. The officers at LiNK will be heading over to the cafeteria immediately after the screening (around 6:15ish), so you are more than welcome to join us!! We will be serving delicious Bulgogi!

Korea Karolina 2012

Korean Student Association at UNC-Charlotte is proud to host the 1st North Carolina Korean-American “Unity” Conference, Korean Karolina 2012.

Korean Karolina is a conference designed to reunite and inspire people of Korean descent across the state of North Carolina.

Korea Karolina is FREE for anyone who is over 18 years old who has filled out the forms provided (forms are under the Korea Karolina tab or on our facebook page).

Submit form to ksaofuncc@uncc.edu before 10/18 to receive a FREE TSHIRT!

Shoutout to those who helped out at iFest!

iFest was a huge success, we had a great time and we hope you guys did as well!

We are having a general body meeting today at 5PM in CHHS 128

There will be rewards for our members who helped out during iFest!

We will also discuss upcoming events, such as Korean Karolina and Korea in Krowns

And last, we will be playing a traditional Korean game called 딱지!

Tonight at 8 PM we are food prepping for iFest. Everybody is more than welcome to lend a hand- we are meeting at the SAC concession area. Hope to see you guys there!

Korea in Crown Commons was a success! Many students came back for thirds, fourths, etc. some even told me personally how they loved the Kimbap!!

Korea at Crowns!

Good evening all!

Don't forget about Korea at Crown Tuesday September 18 (Today) at 5 pm! We will be serving the traditional Korean dish 'Kimbab.' KSA will have Korea at Crown the third Tuesday of every month.

We will meet outside of Crown Commons at 5pm and enter at 5:30pm.

Members get in FREE!

Non-members will have to pay dinner price (no more that 10$)

YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PAY MEMBERSHIP FEES ($20).
Remember that members get plenty of benefits on top of free entry.

Hello Everybody!

I want to give a big thanks for all those who came out to dinner Thursday! I hope everybody enjoyed themselves; because I sure did!

Members will be paying $5.00 for dinner. Non-members will be paying $15.00.
